Aaron Krause’s Scrub Daddy, Inc. hails as one of the most successful businesses in Shark Tank history. He scored a deal of $200,000 for 20% of his Folcroft, Penn. business with Lori Greiner in an October 2012 episode. He originally asked for $100K for 10% equity. Scrub Daddy quickly became “America’s Favorite Sponge” as sales skyrocketed a mind-blowing 95,900%. The happy-face shaped sponge is sold in Bed Bath & Beyond, Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger, Home Depot, CVS, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, Do it Best, True Value, Giant, Christmas Tree Shop, Meijer, Menards, Martin’s, Weis and Wegman’s.

“Scrub Daddy’s patented cut out smiley face design is made unique by its exclusive scratch-free FlexTexture™ material,” said Krause. “His one-of-a-kind pores adjust with your water temperature to change his scrubbing texture. In warm water, he becomes soft and compressible; in cold water he becomes firm to give you even more scrubbing power.

“Use him on dishes, cookware, appliances and more! Scrub Daddy is safe to use on wood, plastic, copper, cast iron, fiberglass, stainless steel, vinyl, car exterior paint, non-stick coatings and glass. He’s even dishwasher and washing machine safe.”

The face shape is actually ergonomic. The eyes provide a grip for two fingers to prevent slippage while in use. The mouth is designed to clean both sides of utensils at the same time. Scrub Daddy has been lab proven to rinse clean of debris and resist odors for up to two months.

“Instead of requiring different tools for different surfaces, use Scrub Daddy to help you clean from room to room with a smile,” said Krause. “Indoors and out, he’s the ideal scrubber for every cleanup job imaginable.”
